spilling over! Please help!

Thanks :)
So did you light some fireworks too, okei?!?

I did, after ages it seems! And enjoyed the colourful bursts in the sky, immensely! I stay away from ‘noisy’ crackers called A-bombs…ear-splitting! Love the seemingly harmless ones like Sparklers. Takes one back to the days of childhood…couldn’t help grinning all the time, LOL!

Bringinging in good imageries of Love and Kinship to Masses to cherish them with hope of goodness and nostalgia for the rest of the year.. Can such festivals of Plenty bring down depression ?? Can such festivals bring down the number of people going to Psychiatrists ??

What are your thoughts ???

I was in deep love with my wouldbe wife-we have been in love for 51/2 yrs & was having our marriage proposed in march2007. She used to behave socially with boys and everyone do like her very very much.Basically I was so possessive. Some 3 yrs back a silly issue-i went for my hometown without informing her for the Deepavali festival-made her angry on me & to give me a revenge she decided to marry her co-worker who was 15yrs older than her,of low family status,¬ having a job.Her family members after severe effort brainwashed her & packed her to their neighbour home in nearby city. After 154 days she called me back,i got her a job in my company & we have a goodtime working together(although we used to have small fights often).I was a s/w engr & i left her 1 yr back for my job to blore. She had got some new guy friends in the meantime. Now the problem is, because of my past bitter experience,I cant digest her friendship with guys & i was itching her not to have guy frnds. Is my atitude ryt?

Why so much bickering and anger?

We have Santa’s that can’t say "ho ho ho".
We have people wondering how to greet each other and people getting mad if they don’t get the greeting they want.
We have people not sure if its ok to send a religious Christmas card to a non-beleiver.
I mean really people…is it that difficult to wish each other well? Is there a real need to take offense at anything??

In this month there is Ramadan, Diwali, Kwanzaa, Haunakha, Winter Solstice (Yule) and Christmas (treated as secular and religious). All of these religions promote peace and love to be spread amongst each other, regardless if we follow the same religious path. WHY then are we so focused on being angry and trying to "take control" of a day or month?

So my real question is….what are YOU going to do this holiday season to spread peace and love?

My answer: I am buying some clothes for a child that I got off the Christmas Tree at the Unitarian Universalist Church so that child can have clothes and a gift under the tree. I am also going to be working at a homeless shelter so those people can have a warm and loving holiday.

Oh and may you all have a wonderful holiday season!

As the day dawns to embrace Diwali, the Hinduism observed Festival of Lights, I, a Christian true to the basic tenets of Christianity that spreads love and brotherhood between all, wish from the bottom of my heart to my Hindu brethren all over the World ‘A VERY HAPPY DIWALI’. Our Universe is one; so is our Creator. We practice different religions and religion-wise we had depicted God in different forms, names and exploits. Let us be true to our faith, but let us also be above RELIGION, RACE AND REGION in our outlook on humanity. I request all my brethren in Yahoo Forum irrespective of faith and belief to send Diwali Greetings to our Hindu brethren all over the world and spread the message of Love and Universal Brotherhood among mankind.
