OK these damn annoying Indians in my area keep setting off fireworks and it is pissing me off!!! These shits are loud! I’m not saying I hate Indians but that is just annoying which is why i don’t set off fireworks on New Years because that pisses people off. So basically why do they feel the need to set off fireworks on Diwali?

I read in the papers that in Kelantan the Muslims are forbidden to wish non-muslims Happy Deepavali, Merry X’mas and Happy Chinese New Year…..is this true? This is so ridiculous ! I bet they are not even allowed to visit them at their homes when it comes to their festival season….
By the way where did the idea ‘duit raya’ come from? From the Chinese who gives ‘ang pow’ during CNY and in some kampungs, they have ‘baraan’. That is the stolen version of the Christian’s carolling, where did they come up with the idea of making ‘kuih ros and muruku’ as their raya cookies? From the Indians celebrating Deepavali…..this is so un-believeable!

(a) what are the rituals ( in sequence if possible ) on the eve and on Deepavali day and their significances ?
(b) i know it is about celebrating good ( Lord Krishna ) over evil ( what’s his name ), perhaps some information about both of them and maybe a pic of Lord Krishna
(c) what is the name of the costume worn by men ( the white sarong like ) on Deepavali ?
(d) what are the type of foods served during Deepavali
(c) i know Deepavali is celebrated over a 5 days period and each day has it’s significance and rituals , what are they ?

And Malaysian Indians tend to use the Deepavali or Diwali? I guess Diwali is more universal as when I type Deepavali, there’s a red line under it and that means it is a wrong spelling.
