The true message of Deepavali is: “Lead us from falsehood to truth; from Darkness to light; from Death to immortality and from Lethargy to Activity Let there be peace, peace and peace” —— TRANSLATION—— “Aum asato ma sadgamaya, Tamaso ma jyotir gamaya, Mrityor ma amritam gamaya Aum shanti shanti shanti Aum” – Rig Veda 1st/2nd Millennia BCE 15th to 20th October 2009 Diwali – 17th October 2009 – Introductory Video [Deepavali - Festival Of Lights] Diwali or Deepavali means an array of lamps (Deep = Lamp, Vali =Array). This is one of the major festivals in the Hindu calendar. It occurs in October/November, and is spread over four days. —————–About the video——– Ive tried to add much as I could, yet trying to keep the video simple (I hope!) and easy to follow…I Realise people around India and world wide celebrate it in many ways, but my aim is to display the true meaning of Deepawali as the light of lights…In self-Realisation..! —- [.::Exclusive Web & Graphic Designs::.] – Visit: www.Web-Designerz.co.uk – Many More Options & All Prices Negotiable, so do ask..! – Part of the AMC Network http You can contact me on: Webmaster@web-designerz.co.uk Kalki@asian-massive-crew.com Info@kalki.co.uk You can also PM For more information

As the day dawns to embrace Diwali, the Hinduism observed Festival of Lights, I, a Christian true to the basic tenets of Christianity that spreads love and brotherhood between all, wish from the bottom of my heart to my Hindu brethren all over the World ‘A VERY HAPPY DIWALI’. Our Universe is one; so is our Creator. We practice different religions and religion-wise we had depicted God in different forms, names and exploits. Let us be true to our faith, but let us also be above RELIGION, RACE AND REGION in our outlook on humanity. I request all my brethren in Yahoo Forum irrespective of faith and belief to send Diwali Greetings to our Hindu brethren all over the world and spread the message of Love and Universal Brotherhood among mankind.

What is the meaning behing the Festival of Diwali in Hinduism?
